Here we bring you The Adventures of Dick Cole,
an adventure written primarily for young adults and based on the character in Blue Bolt Comics. Dick Cole came about through the talents of Bob Davis and for Funnies, Inc.
Dick plays the role of a cadet at the Farr Military Academy and was first seen in Blue Bolt Comics, June, 1940.
The comic book series came to radio in 1942 with a 30 minute
show which follows Cole in his life at Farr Military Academy. Besides playing football, Cole also hunts down evildoers with his friends, Simba and Ted. Dick Cole gradually became known as "America's Number One School Star" in the show syndicated through World Broadcasting System, Inc.
In short, Dick Cole is a model student, and a role model for children everywhere!
